Superstar Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday and were hospitalised soon later. The Gulabo Sitabo actor and son Abhishek Bachchan took to their Twitter to inform fans. In his post, Amitabh Bachchan mentioned that his family and members of the staff have also been tested. Now, as the news of Big B and Abhishek Bachchan testing COVID-19 positive hit headlines, as per the latest reports, special prayers are being offered for their good health at a temple in Ujjain.
ANI reported that special prayers are being offered for the good health of Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan at a temple in Ujjain. In pictures shared by the news agency featured priests offering prayers to God for Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan’s good health in the temple. The tweet made the news agency read, “Madhya Pradesh: Special prayers being offered for the good health of Amitabh Bachchan & Abhishek Bachchan at a temple in Ujjain. Actor Amitabh Bachchan & son Abhishek Bachchan tested #COVID19 positive & both admitted to a hospital.”
Meanwhile, according to the latest reports, Abhishek Bachchan’s wife, actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan have also tested positive for COVID-19. It is also reported that Jaya Bachchan has tested negative.

Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are admitted at Nanavati hospital. After Big B tested positive, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope mentioned that the veteran actor is stable with mild symptoms.
