Fans of megastar Amitabh Bachchan were left worried after it was reported that he suffered an injury to his ribs during the shoot of his film ‘Project K’. Now, Big B has shared his health update, informing fans that he has put all his work commitments on halt till his condition improves. In his blog, Amitabh expressed gratitude to his fans for praying for him and showing their immense love and support after they learned about his injury.
The Sholay actor penned a lengthy note on his blog and an excerpt from it read, “First, to all that send their concern on my injury, may I express my gratitude and love for your prayers. I progress gradually, it shall take time and what has been prescribed by the doctors is being followed diligently. Rest and strapped chest, all work has stopped and will only begin once the condition improves and the medical gives an assurance. But my immense gratitude to all.”
Adding to this, the veteran actor also talked about Holika celebrations at his home Jalsa and extended his wishes to fans. “The holika was lit last night at Jalsa, there being a date confusion on the day for HOLI... it is now done. HOLI being celebrated today... and tomorrow... so in this confusion, much of what could have been done was not done... I rest and repair. But my wishes for the celebration of this joyous festival is with you,” he further wrote.
Meanwhile, Amitabh has been busy shooting for Nag Ashwin's science fiction drama Project K which also stars Deepika Padukone and South superstar Prabhas. The movie is slated to hit the theatres on January 12, 2024.
