Weddings are always special, especially for the parents of the bride, who go through a roller-coaster of emotions. Something similar is the case of Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan and Katrina Kaif, but before you think otherwise, the trio recently shot for an ad and it’s all things gorgeous. Taking to his blog, the Pink actor shared his experience of working with his wife and the gorgeous Katrina Kaif, along with south superstars like Nagarjuna, Shivraj Kumar and PrabhuDeva. He also shared a streak of beautiful pictures from the shoot.
The pictures see parents Amitabh and Jaya escorting bride Katrina, who was decked in a stunning bridal avatar, to the mandap. Big B and Jaya, too, were donning some highly royal traditional North-Indian styled attires and jewelry. The other set of pictures feature the trio in South Indian-styled clothes, as they indulge in festivities like dancing and goofing around. While Amitabh wore a white veshti, a matching white shirt with cloth tied around his head, Katrina oozes radiance in a bright green silk sari and Jaya looks graceful in a brown-deep yellow sari. “Getting her married off,” read Big B’s caption. Further, elaborating on working with the south superstars, Big B wrote, “Historic moment for Jaya and me .. 3 superstar sons of 3 Iconic Legends of Indian Film Industry, work together with us .. what honour ..Nagarjun - son Akkineni Nageshwara Rao, Telugu Shivraj Kumar - son Dr Raaj Kumar, Kannada PrabhuDeva - son Shivaji Ganesan, Tamil.” We can’t wait to get our hands on this advertisement now.
