Amitabh Bachchan reacts to Aamir Khan praising Jhund, calls him 'over-excited'
Last week, Megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s sports drama ‘Jhund’ hit the theatre screens and it is receiving an amazing response from the audience as well as critics. Everyone is blown away by Big B’s performance and Nagraj Manjule’s direction. Before the release, the makers arranged a special screening for Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan that left him emotionally wrought at the sheer brilliance of the film. Now, Big B has reacted to Aamir’s reaction to the film in a recent interview.
Speaking with Bollywood Hungama, the megastar said that Aamir Khan has a habit of getting over-excited about everything. Showing gratitude towards PK actor’s appreciation, Big B said, " Aamir always has the habit of getting over-excited. But I thank him for it. I think Aamir has always been a very good judge of films. So, I am deeply obliged that he had such kind words to say about the film." As told earlier, Aamir was spellbound by Big B’s performance and the way he portrayed the character of Vijay in the film, who works hard to give meaning to the life of boys who are spending their lives aimlessly. While singing praises for Amitabh, Aamir had said, "Bachchan sahab ne kya kaam Kia hai, this is one of his best works.” Throughout the movie, the Dangal actor was seen wiping his tears with his t-shirt sleeves. He also hugged and clapped for the boys for their terrific stints in the movie.
For the unversed, Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan have worked together in Thugs Of Hindostan which however did not work well at the box office.
