Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who had been admitted to Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai, after he had tested positive for Coronavirus, was recently discharged from the hospital. The news was first shared by Abhishek Bachchan on his Twitter informing fans that his father Amitabh Bachchan has been discharged after his COVID-19 result came back negative. Big B’s millions of fans were overjoyed and even celebs such as Ayushmann Khurrana, Kiara Advani, Ishaan Khatter and others cheered as Big B returned home. Now, as Amitabh Bachchan recovers from COVID-19, fan club pointed out an interesting coincidence about his recovery, in connection with his Coolie accident from back in 1982.
A fan page called, ‘Bewitching Bachchans' took to their Twitter handle and pointed out that it was on the very same date that Amitabh Bachchan had recovered from his Coolie accident as well. This was 38 years ago! Sharing a picture of Amitabh Bachchan, the fan page tweeted, “This is such a sheer coincidence that @SrBachchan recovered from his Coolie accident on 2nd August 1982, and now 38 years later, he recovered from COVID on the very same day.”

Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan also took to his Twitter to inform his fans that he was discharged from the hospital. He tweeted, “T 3613 - I have tested CoVid- have been discharged. I am back home in solitary quarantine. Grace of the Almighty, blessings of Ma Babuji, prayers & duas of near & dear & friends fans EF .. and the excellent care and nursing at Nanavati made it possible for me to see this day .” Abhishek Bachchan remains in the hospital due to some comorbidities.
