Amitabh Bachchan's Daughter Shweta Bachchan Supports Rhea Chakraborty; Posts Text On Instagram Similar To That On Rhea's T-Shirt

Amid Rhea Chakraborty's arrest, Amitabh Bachchan's daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda breaks her silence and posts a picture on Instagram. The text is similar to that on Rhea's T-shirt which she wore today at NCB office.

Just sometime back news of Rhea Chakraborty hit the headlines. The actress was taken into NCB custody today late evening for procuring drugs for Sushant Singh Rajput, after which she underwent a mandatory COVID-19 test. Results of which came in negative. Post her arrest many Bollywood celebrities have spoken up against the action taken by NCB. Though in her statement to the NCB Rhea has confessed to procuring drugs for Sushant Singh Rajput nowhere has she confessed of consuming the same. Thus making many Bollywood personalities miffed and disappointed with her arrest. 

Though many celebs have been speaking in support of Rhea for days now, no one from the Bachchan family had ever spoken up about the Sushant Singh Rajput death case and the subsequent FIR against Rhea Chakraborty. Now Amitabh Bachchan's daughter Shweta Bachchan has finally spoken in favour of Rhea Chakraborty. Shweta on her Instagram stories posted the text similar to that on Rhea's t-shirt which she wore to the NCB's office today. Rhea's T-shirt read, “Roses are red, violets are blue, Let’s smash patriarchy, Me and you.”

These same lines shave been posted by Shweta Bachchan in her Instagram stories.

As of now, Rhea Chakraborty's remand hearing proceedings are being carried out in court via video conferencing. The actress has been sent to 14-day judicial custody. Her lawyer Satish Maneshinde had applied for bail and the hearing is in process.
