Amitabh Bachchan’s Eccentric Character In Gulabo Sitabo Looks Quite Quirky

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan received lots of love from his fans after he landed in Lucknow. Fans of the actor went into a frenzy on Big B’s arrival on the sets of the film and almost breached the security cordon. The megastar will be shooting for a month’s long schedule of the film Gulabo Sitabo. The film is directed by Shoojit Sircar and will be starring Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurana in the lead roles.
In the film, Big B will essay the role of the owner of a residential property, Patiala House, while Ayushmann Khurana will essay the role of his tenant. Big B, dressed in a kurta-pajama and sporting a beard went almost unrecognized even when he moved around the location. Most of the shots were taken indoors and a heavy security arrangement made it impossible for fans to gate-crash. But as crowds gathered in the area since morning waiting for a glimpse of the superstar, Big B’s look from the film went viral over the internet during the shoot.
The film is based on Gulabo Sitabo - a legendary pair of puppet sisters has been part of Uttar Pradesh's folklore. The film, apparently, is a take-off on these two characters and is believed to be a comedy. The shooting for the film started on Wednesday at the famous Mahmoodabad House in Qaiserbagh area. The film is written by Juhi Chaturvedi of Piku fame. Gulabo Sitabo is set to release in April 2020.
