Amitabh Bachchan’s Residence ‘Jalsa’ Declared A Containment Zone, Security Amped Up Outside His Home And Nanavati Hospital
Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for COVID-19. Both, Big B and Abhishek Bachchan took to their Twitter to inform their fans about the same, and reassured that the officials were informed and that their family, as well as staff members, underwent tests. Amitabh Bachchan was admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital, and the actor’s residence Jalsa was sanitized by the BMC officials a few hours ago. Now, as per latest reports, Jalsa has been declared a containment zone by BMC.

As per a report in Times Of India, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation  (BMC) defined Amitabh Bachchan’s residence ‘Jalsa’ a containment zone, and that security has been beefed up outside his home, as well as outside Nanavati Hospital. As per ANI, the BMC officials put up a banner outside Jalsa to define is as a containment zone. A while ago, IndiaTV reported that a team of 26 BMC officials and workers arrived at Jalsa with machines to sanitize the bungalow and the vicinity of the actor’s residence. The BMC officials were seen wearing PPE kits for their safety.

Meanwhile, it is also being reported that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan have tested negative for the virus, while Aaradhya Bachchan’s test results are yet to come.


Abhishek Bachchan updated his fans about his health last night through his tweet which read, “Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic.
