Bollywood megastar Abhishek Bachchan enjoys a huge fan following, who are always eager to learn more about his personal life. He is currently busy hosting his show Kaun Banega Crorepati season 15, where he has made some shocking revelations that have left the audience in awe of his charisma and charm. Apart from quizzing the contestants on their general knowledge on the show, he is also known for talking about his experiences and sharing anecdotes from his work or personal life.
As the show started airing, he introduced the audience to his makeup artist Deepak and thanked him for putting in all the hard work on his looks. The 80-year-old veteran actor also spoke about his beard and why he stuck with the iconic look forever. According to a report by Bollywood Life, while praising former Indian cricketer Kapil Dev for his moustache, he revealed that he was asked to maintain the beard for one of his shoots. While talking to Kapil Dev, in the same episode, he spoke about visiting Shah Rukh Khan’s vanity van which was designed by the latter’s wife Gauri Khan. He shared how he liked that vanity as it had a television, a sliding sofa and a kitchen among many other things. In a recent episode, senior Bachchan’s son Abhishek Bachchan had graced the show with his presence to promote his recent release Ghoomer, alongside Saiyami Kher. In the episode not only did the father-son duo share many fun episodes together, they even enacted a sharabi scene.
In one of the episodes, the veteran was asked if he has a favourite actress in Bollywood. Dismissing the questions, he stated that all the actresses he had worked with are his favourite. Calling all of them talented he expressed how he doesn't get to work much with the young actresses as he has grown old.
He also openly spoke about returning as a host on the quiz-based reality show. Quoted by ETimes, Bachchan said, “The audiences who come to sit in the silent, bring with them the joy of cheer and appreciation as time goes by and their love and cooperation exceeds all limits of patience and dedicated involve ... the contestants, may the Almighty bless them all, bring the colour that shines so brilliantly all about the arena, and with their tales of effort and association, bringing emotion and happiness around.”
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in Uunchai alongside Anupam Kher and Boman Irani. Currently hosting the 15th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati, he has a list of exciting projects ahead of him. He will be seen in movies like Section 84, Ganapath - Part 1, Kalki 2898 AD and the official remake of the hit Hollywood movie The Intern.
