Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt Advocate Masking Up, Endorse ‘Wear The Mask’ Campaign
In the wake of Coronavirus pandemic, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt and many more have participated in ‘Wear the mask’ campaign that has been initiated by a celebrity photographer
For more than two months now, the novel Coronavirus has been making the world an inhospitable environment and with this, it has forced a lockdown on people in order to curb the spread of COVID-19 pandemic. However, the government has strictly told the citizens to maintain a social distance and to always cover one’s face with a mask while stepping out of the house. On the same note, Bollywood celebs like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt and many more have participated in ‘Wear the mask’ campaign that is been initiated by a celebrity photographer, Avinash Gowariker.
The photographer has assembled throwback pictures of many celebs with their mouths covered for the campaign, ‘WEAR A MASK IT’S SAFER’ featuring some of the popular celebs. Big B shared the collage of the same on his Instagram feed with a caption which read, “Wear the mask .. an initiative by @avigowariker .. ace photographer and dear friend.” In the picture, we see Amitabh covering his mouth by pulling up his high-neck sweatshirt while Tiger Shroff is also seen striking a similar pose with his black turtleneck t-shirt.
On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra Salman Khan and South star Mahesh Babu are seen covering their mouths with their hands. Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan is seen hiding his mouth behind a clapperboard whereas cricketer MS Dhoni covered his face with his gloves. Sharing individual pictures of each and every star on Instagram, the photographer Avinash shares a disclaimer that read, “WEAR A MASK.... IT’S SAFER...PS: This is an image in a photo series I’m doing, using stock pics from older photoshoots...#WearAMaskItsSafer !! #GoCorona #StaySafe.” Check out the picture below:
