Amitabh Bachchan tweets from Nanavati hospital talking about religion and prayers as he tries his best to stay connected with fans on social media, after testing positive for COVID-19
It has been over a week since Superstar and veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan informed fans that they tested positive for COVID-19, and were admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital. The father-son duo shared the news with fans through their official social media accounts. Since then, Big B is trying his best to stay connected with fans on social media, ever since he tested positive for COVID-19. Today, the senior actor tweets from Nanavati hospital about religion and prayers.
On Twitter, Amitabh Bachchan tweeted, “मज़हब तो ये दो हथेलियाँ बताती हैं, जुड़ें तो "पूजा" खुलें तो “दुआ”कहलाती हैं..!” Amitabh Bachchan shared the tweet along with a picture collage of him. One picture sees Big B from his young days praying with open hands, while the other features a picture of him from now, with folded hands.
While the actor is trying his best to be in touch with fans, in his tweet, talking about religion, Amitabh Bachchan said that it’s our hands that talk about religion. Explaining further, in his tweet, Big B mentioned that when a person joins his hands for prayer, he performs a Pooja, whereas, when a person opens his hands for prayer, it’s called ‘dua’.

Meanwhile, after Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for COVID-19 and were admitted to Nanavati hospital, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan also tested positive for the deadly virus. As Aishwarya and Aaradhya were asymptomatic and stable, they remained quarantined at home. A few days later, the mother and daughter were admitted to Nanavati hospital, due to mild symptoms.
