Amrita Rao- RJ Anmol Reveal They LOST A Baby Via Surrogacy, Couple Opens Up About Their 4-Year Long Struggle With IVF-DEETS Inside
Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol talk about their pregnancy struggles and losing a child during surrogacy
Bollywood actress Amrita Rao and her husband RJ Anmol welcomed their first child, son Veer in 2020. But before Veer was born, the couple faced many challenges when they decided to extend their family. In a new video on their YouTube channel ‘Couple Of Things’, Amrita and Anmol opened up about their pregnancy struggles and losing a child during surrogacy. The two recalled having a tough time for 4 years as they tried various methods such as IUI, IVF, Ayurveda, and surrogacy.
Amrita revealed that they were advised to try IUI but it didn't give them any results. Later, the doctors advised the couple to go for surrogacy. In the clip, Amrita said, "Frankly I was like hann hann mujhe pregnant nahi banna padega na, theek hai Of course, there are many factors that the baby will get a lot of qualities of that surrogate mother and not what the original mother can give to the baby."
"Every time the nurse used to come to give me those hormonal shots I used to hate it. They were painless but I used to hate it. After that, I decided not to do IVF again,” the actress recalled.
Amrita Rao- RJ Anmol then decided to try Ayurveda treatment but it gave the actress bad rashes on her body. It too did not work for the couple.
“Then, I began to think if we even wanted a child,” Amrita said. They decided to accept the reality of the situation, that they may never have a baby. They then decided to take a break and packed their bags and jetted off to Koh Samui in Thailand for a vacation. In 2020, during their vacation in Thailand, Amrita learned that she was pregnant. They became proud parents to son Veer on November 1.
