‘Gehraiyaan’, Shakun Batra’s latest release has been receiving love and applause from the audience as well from the film fraternity. Recently, TV czarina Ekta Kapoor shared her review about the film and now Tia aka Ananya Panday revealed how her childhood friends Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor reacted to the film. Gehraiyaan also stars Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Dhairya Karwa in pivotal roles.
In a chat with Bollywood Bubble, Ananya revealed what her ‘soulmate’ best friends felt about the film. Ananya shared that while watching the film, both her girlfriends cheered for her. She said, “I sat with them while they were seeing it and they are the most reactive audience that you can get. Every scene, they were like, ‘Oh my God, what is happening? How strong the bond of friendship the trio shares is not hidden from anyone. Suhana, Shanaya, and Ananya are childhood friends and on several occasions, they show the true meaning of friendship. During the conversation, Ananya also talked about the importance of girl best friends in her life. She added “Your girlfriends are your soulmates is what I truly believe. They are the ones who understand exactly what you are going through because there is such a sense of empathy and understanding and just being good listeners in that sense. There’s just a lot of love, encouragement, understanding, and thoughtfulness with my girls,”
Earlier in her Instagram post, Panday shared her experience while shooting for Gehraiyaan and portraying Tia’s character on screen. She shared how well she relates to Tia’s character and life lessons associated with her.
She captioned, "This movie was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life, the way Tia's character started growing on me, how I related to her and most importantly the lessons this character had in store for me."
