Ananya Panday: "Varun Dhawan Knows I Am In Love With Him And It's Awkward"
During her recent interview with Elle, Ananya Panday revealed that Varun Dhawan knows that she’s in love with him and it’s a bit awkward
Chunky Panday’s daughter and Bollywood’s new ‘Student’ Ananya Panday is set to make her debut with Karan Johar’s Dharma Production’s Student Of The Year 2. Even before her movie could hit the theatres, the upcoming actress made her magazine cover debut with Elle looking stunning as ever. Apart from turning the cover girl for Elle, Ananya spoke at length about her likes/dislikes and many other things. The budding actress also revealed that she is in love with Varun Dhawan.
When she was asked about who is on her wish-list of directors she wants to work with, she replied saying, “Karan Johar, for his direction. Zoya Akhtar because everything she does is just perfect. I watch Luck By Chance every month! Sanjay Leela Bhansali, he is a magician. Devdas makes me cry.”
Further, when she was asked about who she can’t wait to work with, she said, “Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor Khan. I am obsessed with both of them. Even Varun Dhawan! His energy…and he is so cute. He knows I am in love with him and it’s a bit awkward.
When she was asked if she’s single, she said, “Very much so. I have dated people, mainly those high school relationships where we used to hold hands and WhatsApp. But now, I am at a point in my life where my career is so important, I don’t think I can put anyone else through it.”
Talking about dealing with heartbreaks, she told the magazine, “I always end up being the heartbreaker. And I move on quickly.”
Along with Ananya Panday, Student Of The Year 2 also marks the debut of Tara Sutaria. Both have been paired opposite Tiger Shroff. Directed by Punit Malhotra SOTY 2 is slated to release on May 5, 2019.
