Angrezi Medium Video: Irrfan Khan Cheered On By Fans As He Shoots In Udaipur
Irrfan Khan has begun shooting for Angrezi Medium in Udaipur. Recently, the actor took some time off post pack up to interact with the locals there
Irrfan Khan who was diagnosed with neuroendocrine syndrome last year, is back with a bang. The actor has started shooting for Angrezi Medium in Udaipur. Pictures from the sets have been going viral on social media since some time now.
This time, we got our hands on a video of the actor posing with a mob of local fans who gathered to see him post pack up. The smiles on their faces say it all. Not only did Irrfan interact with them, but even clicked loads of pictures. Angrezi Medium is directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Dinesh Vijan. The film is a sequel to the 2017 blockbuster hit, Hindi Medium that starred Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar in it.
Recently, Irrfan had penned a heartwarming note, thanking all those who prayed for his speedy recovery. The actor announced that he’s back to the game and indeed the thank you note brought a smile on our face. Here are the excerpts from the letter: “Maybe somewhere in the pursuit of winning, we forget how much it means to be loved. In our vulnerability, we are reminded. As I leave my footprints onto these steps of my life, I want to pause to be grateful for recieving your immense love and support, it soothed me in my process of healing. So I travel back to you, thanking you from the bottom of my heart.”
This was followed by his wife Sutapa Sikdar's heartfelt note describing how the year went by for them. Producer of Angrezi Medium Dinesh Vijan too expressed his emotional state of mind on the actor’s return by saying, “Irrfan is undoubtedly one of the best actors in the country. When he gave his first shot everyone around got emotional. For me it was one of those life-defining moments working with him again after Hindi Medium. Having him and Homi together was something all three of us have always wanted.”
