Anil Kapoor Claims Kareena Kapoor Khan Charged A WHOPPING Fee For Veere Di Wedding: ‘I Said Bebo Jo Maangegi, De Do’

Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is expecting her second child with Saif Ali Khan, has continued working through her pregnancy. Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap, who have been promoting their Netflix film AK Vs AK, were the guests on Kareena Kapoor Khan’s radio chat show. It was during that conversation that Anil Kapoor candidly revealed the details of the negotiations during Veere Di Wedding, which starred Kareena, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania. He claimed that Kareena was charging a whopping amount for the film.
Anil Kapoor was the co-producer of Veere Di Wedding, and during Kareena’s chat show, while talking about pay gap disparity between male and female actors, Anil Kapoor revealed that Kareena was charging a huge fee for Veere Di Wedding. “Yaar, yeh toh hero se zyada paise maang rahi hai.’ Maine bola, ‘De do (‘She is demanding more money than the hero.’ I said, ‘Give it to her),” said Anil Kapoor. This film was Kareena Kapoor’s comeback post her pregnancy. Anil Kapoor further said that the team called him up while the negotiations were on, and he told them to give Kareena the amount that she wants.
“They all called me up also, I said, ‘Done.’ They were calling me when the negotiations were on. I said, ‘Bebo jo maangegi, de do (Give Kareena what she wants),” said Anil Kapoor. Kareena then started laughing over this.
