A father feels the happiest when he sees his daughter marrying the love of her life. Actor Anil Kapoor is currently beaming with joy as his younger daughter Rhea Kapoor has tied the knot with her long-term beau Karan Boolani. After her wedding, Anil took to Instagram to share some lovely pictures along with a heartwarming caption that seemed like coming out from a father’s heart. Speaking about the pictures, the actor shared a candid shot of his daughter with her husband while the other one is a family photo.
The picture features the Kapoor clan - Anil Kapoor, his wife Sunita, son Harshvardhan, daughters Sonam Kapoor and Rhea along with their better halves Anand Ahuja and Karan respectively. Sharing the pictures, the actor backed it with, “And with that, I feel like my Magnum Opus is complete...with our 2 super-daughters and 3 super-sons, we have the biggest blockbuster ever! Our hearts are full and our family is blessed” Several stars like Bhumi Pednekar, Rajkummar Rao, Riteish Deshmukh, Farah Khan, Bipasha Basu and many more poured in congratulatory messages.
As Anil got a little emotional, Rhea also penned a sweet about family and love in her Instagram post. She wrote, “12 years later, I shouldn’t have been nervous or overwhelmed because you’re my best friend and the best guy ever. But I cried and shook and had stomach flips all the way through because I didn’t know how humbling the experience would be. I’ll always be that girl who had to come home to juhu at 11 pm before my parents fell asleep. Only until now I didn’t know how lucky I was to feel torn. I hope we make a family so close that we have many, many loves of our life. Mine are @karanboolani @anilskapoor @kapoor.sunita @sonamkapoor and @harshvarrdhankapoor forever more.”
The stylist even shared a picture of herself recently wearing the bridal dress. For the wedding, Rhea Kapoor opted for an off-white chanderi saree with delicate golden work on it. Her saree was from the shelves of Anamika Khanna that she teamed with a pearl vintage veil from Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas. The elegant looking jewels are from her mother Sunita’s collection.
Rhea Kapoor and Karan Boolani got hitched on Saturday, August 14 with only the immediate family in attendance. Her cousins like Arjun Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor were also seen marking their presence at the wedding.
