Recently, during an appearance at an award function, Sandeep Reddy Vanga was probed about the highly anticipated sequel to the Ranbir Kapoor starrer, and the director spilt some details. Discussing the filming of the sequel, Vanga revealed that the film is all set to commence production in 2026. In a conversation with Anubhav Singh Bassi, Ranbir Kapoor disclosed that Vanga is gearing up to go darker, deeper, and more complex with the success of Animal. He mentioned, "He has one or two scenes ready, which he narrated to me, and they are very exciting. Now, because of the success of part one, he has the confidence and courage to go even darker, deeper, and more complex. He can do anything."




It is rumoured that Animal Park will primarily focus on Rannvijay (Ranbir Kapoor) and his doppelganger. The narrative will delve into Rannvijay's relationship with Geetanjali (Rashmika Mandanna) and his son, promising a deeper exploration of their dynamics. The sequel is anticipated to raise the stakes, offering a wilder and more intense cinematic experience. Animal was a blockbuster and the film raked Rs 900 crore worldwide. Fans are eagerly waiting for its anticipated sequel Animal Park.
