Ankita Lokhande who was in a relationship with Sushant Singh Rajput for around seven years recently opened up about the bond she shared with the late actor. After almost a month of his demise, Ankita broke her silence and stated that she cannot accept the depression narrative that is being formed around Sushant's demise. On the one-month death anniversary of SSR, Ankita had also shared a picture of diya on social media calling him a 'Child of God'. Now, Ankita has made a post talking about listening to her 'higher self'.
Sharing a quote by Ara, Ankita made a Twitter post with the caption #listeningtomyhigherself. The quote talks about listening to the journey of heart and not bowing down to people's expectations. The quote reads, "They wanted me to be a million things in this Earthly lifetime, and to each I bowed and said "Not for me I am on the Priestess Path, Goddess born and I cannot be swayed. I follow the journey of my heart and the singing of my soul; I cannot be bought, and I cannot be sold."

In the interview with Republic, Ankita had also expressed her disappointment on the pictures of Sushant's mortal remains getting leaked on social media within a few mins. "I saw the video where they were putting the blanket on Sushant’s body, it was everywhere. People were sending me, don’t know how it leaked, but it did leak. For 2-3 days, I couldn't watch, but how so many things get viral? I wanted to see what was in it, some green cloth is hanging and he is lying on the bed. It’s the saddest thing to happen. Someone’s dead body photos were going viral. What to say? Don’t know who has done. It’s very painful for his family, for people who loved him," she said.
