Annu Kapoor Says “Will Touch Her Feet” If Tamannaah Bhatia Felt Offended By ‘Dudhiya Badan’ Remark

Actor Annu Kapoor has responded to the controversy surrounding his “dudhiya badan” remark about Tamannaah Bhatia, saying he is willing to apologise if his words caused any offence. The veteran actor addressed the backlash after a clip of his comment began circulating online, drawing criticism from many who felt it was inappropriate.

Speaking about the issue, Kapoor clarified that his statement was not intended to disrespect Tamannaah. He explained that he often speaks in a poetic or descriptive manner and did not anticipate that his words would be taken in a negative context. However, acknowledging the reactions, he added that if Tamannaah herself felt hurt by the remark, he would not hesitate to apologise to her personally.

“If she felt bad, I’ll touch her feet and apologise,” Kapoor said, emphasising that he has no ego when it comes to admitting a mistake. He further stated that he respects women deeply and would never intentionally say anything to demean them. According to him, the controversy may have stemmed from a misunderstanding of his choice of words rather than any malicious intent.

The remark had sparked debate on social media, with several users calling it out while others defended Kapoor, suggesting that his comment was being misinterpreted. Tamannaah, however, has not publicly reacted to the controversy so far.

Kapoor’s response highlights his attempt to address the situation calmly while reiterating that his intention was not to offend. By expressing his readiness to apologise directly to Tamannaah, he signalled that he values respect and accountability over defending his statement.
