The Narcotics Control Bureau that launched a probe in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case went on to unearth some details of alleged drug nexus in Bollywood. Names of many celebrities and their managers came into picture. Deepika Padukone's ex-manager Karishma Prakash too is on the list. Karishma's name reportedly emerged during the interrogation of one of the drug-peddlers. Later, NCB raided her home and reportedly seized some narcotic substances. She then applied for an anticipatory bail in Special Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) court fearing arrest.

Latest update in the case states that the court has adjourned the anticipatory bail plea of Karishma Prakash to November 10. As per a report in New Indian Express, the court has given interim relief to Karishma Prakash and stated that no "coercive" action can be taken against her for now. This means she cannot be arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau. However, special public prosecutor Atul Sarpande also mentioned that she will have to cooperate with the NCB in the probe.
