Late Bollywood actor Satish Kaushik’s sudden passing has left a void in the hearts of the fans and the entertainment industry. While everyone is still busy reeling from the shock, the veteran’s close friend Anupam Kher recently took to his official social media handle to wish him on his 67th birthday. Through his post, the actor promised to throw him a grand celebration.

Taking to Instagram, Kher shared a video that consisted of their unseen pictures together, spending time with each other, working together, attending events with their family members. The actor expressed his sadness in the caption. He wrote how if Kaushik had been alive today they would have celebrated his 67th birthday together. Recalling how he had the privilege of celebrating 48 birthdays with the late actor, he promised to throw a grand celebration this year too. He went on to promise that he would keep a seat open for his friend so he could come and visit. For the unversed, the actor breathed after a heart attack in the early hours of March 9 in Delhi. He is survived by his wife Sashi and their 10-year-old daughter Vanshika. Satish Kaushik was an alumnus of the National School of Drama and Film and Television Institute of India. After starting his career in theatre, he went on to make a name for himself in Bollywood as an actor, director, producer, screenwriter and a comedian. He has movies like Mr India, Deewana Mastana, Brick Lane, Saajan Chale Sasural, Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, Prem, Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain and Tere Naam among many others to his credit. He will be last seen in Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency.
