Anupam Shyam Battles For His Life In ICU: Manoj Bajpayee Comes To His Rescue, Offers Financial Aid After Family Makes Desperate Plea For Funds
Manoj Bajpayee has come to the aid of actor Anupam Shyam who has been battling for his life in the ICU. Manoj has assisted the family with much-needed funds so they can continue with the treatment.
Yesterday we reported to you that famous Bollywood and TV actor Anupam Shyam is hospitalised at a Goregaon hospital. The actor was admitted to the ICU on Monday night after he collapsed after his dialysis. The actor's health has been bad since 6 months now due to infection in his kidney. His younger brother Anurag has been seeking financial help so the family can continue with the treatment. Now SpotboyE.com has it that Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee has come to the rescue and contributed some funds for his treatment. However the struggle for arranging moreore funds is still on.
Talking to us on the development, Anupam's brother Anurag said, "Manoj Bajpayee was the first one to transfer Rs 1 lakh to the given account number. Apart from.him, few others have also contributed towards his treatment. However, we still need Rs 3 lakh, as the tentative bill is between Rs 4-5 lakh. But I really want to thank everyone, especially Manoj Sir for coming ahead and helping us out."
Giving a health update to us yesterday, Anurag said, "He has been keeping unwell for the last six months now. He has an infection in his Kidney due to which we had admitted him to Hinduja Hospital back then and got him treated for almost one and half month. That time his health got fine but he was suggested dialysis, from time to time. But he decided to go for ayurvedic treatment as dialysis costs a lot. That didn't help. He got breathless recently because of not doing dialysis. His chest got filled with water, so we again started his dialysis and he started getting relief".
He added, "I was getting his dialysis done in a Malad hospital but yesterday after his dialysis he collapsed and they suggested we take him to some other hospital which has an ICU. So I got him admitted to this hospital but it is expensive and we don't have money for the treatment. All of what he has earned has already been spent on his medication. We are really in need of money. I request you all to spread the word in his fraternity so that someone can come ahead and help us."
