Anurag Kashyap Injured!
The director ended up with broken ribs after shooting an action sequence for the Sonakshi Sinha starrer
Anurag Kashyap recently returned from the United States where he was vacationing with daughter Aaliyah, but had to rush straight to the doctor due to a stabling pain in his chest.
The story goes that Anurag had wrapped up some portions of AR Murgadoss's Akira just before flying out. The film has him as the main villain and one of the intense sequences required him to do a hand-to-hand combat scene.
Said the source, "After Anurag was done with the scene, he felt a trifle uneasy but ignored the pain. It was only after the discomfort increased while he was holidaying that he decided he should seek a doctor's opinion."
And his worst fears came true.
The filmmaker has been told that his ribs have been hurt and although he isn't been hospitalised, he will have to take complete bed-rest for about a week. Goes without saying that he came out from the clinic holding a prescription of strong medicines.
Well, it seems that after Bombay Velvet's debacle, Anurag is taking his acting gig way too seriously!
