Anurag's Rendezvous With Ex-flame In New York

After the debacle of Bombay Velvet, you'd imagine Anurag Kashyap licking his wounds in solitude. But looks like he's got a better plan.
We were the first one to tell you that post the film's release, Anurag hasn't fled the country for Paris, but has taken off for a vacation with daughter Alia to New York (Anurag Kashyap flies off to the Big Apple with daughter, June 25).
After the US delivered a historic verdict that legalised same-sex marriage in the States, the streets of New York City were brimming with all sorts of hues and Kashyap decided to join in the victory parade, even posing for pictures with the daughter.
However, that wasn't the best part. The more interesting bit of the vacation was that he caught up with Samita Sinha.
Samita who, did you say?
So she's a US-based musician whom he got involved with during the summer of 2006. She left a lasting impact on him, even influencing his idea of filmmaking.
In fact, his Ranbir Kapoor-Anushka Sharma starrer was dedicated to Samita as her music had triggered an inspiration so intoxicating, it gave birth to the film. "I have a deep love for Samita that will remain forever. Some people you value and cherish all your life. She's one such incredible woman," Anurag had said in a recent interview about Samita.
Nearly ten years later, the couple is once again together in the buzzing streets of New York catching up on all the lost years and going concert-hopping together.
