Anushka Sharma has quietly slipped away to Australia to bring in the New Year with her cricketer-boyfriend Virat Kohli who is engaged in playing Australia.
The actress boarded the flight from Mumbai on Wednesday morning.
A source close to Anushka says, "Now that PK has released, she has some time before she gets busy with NH 10 and Bombay Velvet. She is likely to stay in Australia for the next 10-12 days."
When spotted with Anushka in Melbourne where the couple is currently, Virat was quite flustered. As seen in the picture, he put up his hand and asked the lensman in question not to click.
The lovebirds brought in 2014 too together. On December 31, 2013, the Indian team had landed in Mumbai after a South Africa tour and Virat was picked up by the actress’s driver in her car and driven straight to her Lokhandwala residence.
Not so long ago, Virat confirmed that he and Anushka are seeing each other and their privacy should be respected.
In February this year, Anushka came under lot of flak for Virat's failure in the New Zealand tour, when she joined him for a brief period. All eyes on Virat now in the Melbourne Test slated to start tomorrow. India is trailing in the on-going series 0-2.
