Anushka Sharma’s NH 10 may have been pushed to next year for technical reasons, but the actress isnt taking it easy. Shes already begun work on her next film as a producer. The Band Baaja Baaraat actress became one of the youngest female actor-turned-producers in the industry, when she and her brother Karnesh Sharma set up Clean Slate Films and flagged off NH 10 with Navdeep Singh as the director.
Her second project will also be directed by Navdeep and written by Sudip Sharma, who also wrote their maiden production. The actress released an official statement, saying, “Ive always been a risk taker, and setting up Clean Slate allows me to push the envelope even more. To collaborate with young, fresh minds to mount projects and create cinema that truly excites me - both personally and as a viewer.”
Anushka, clearly, is in the process of kick-starting the most exciting phase of her career with an array of lip-smacking films releasing back-to-back, including Raju Hiranis PK opposite Aamir Khan, Anurag Kashyaps Bombay Velvet opposite Ranbir Kapoor, Zoya Akhtars Dil Dhadakne Do with Ranveer Singh, Farhan Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra besides her own production, NH 10.
