Rajkumar Hirani directorial 3 Idiots is still considered one of the most record breaking movies in Bollywood. Starring Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, R Madhavan and Sharman Joshi in lead roles, the songs, the dialogues and the characters are still fresh in everyone’s memory. However, did you know that actress Anushka Sharma, at the age of 19, had auditioned for the role of Pia, which was essayed by Kareena? In a video that is going viral on social media, the actress can be seen talking about the same.
The video clip that is going viral on YouTube, seems to be a behind-the-scenes snippet from her much-acclaimed movie PK. The actress, who turned a year older today, can be seen telling the camera that she wants to reveal a big secret. The secret being that she had auditioned for 3 Idiots, however, no one has watched her audition tapes. The revelation leaves Hirani shocked, as he denies her auditioning for the role. Further in the video she plays her clip for the director as well as Aamir, who both look impressed by her acting prowess. Anushka made her big Bollywood debut with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. It was during the show The Romantics, that follows the journey of Yash Chopra through the eyes of all the celebrities he has worked with, when it was revealed that her Aditya Chopra had kept her debut a huge secret. They had gone as far as to request her not to even tell her parents. Ever since her first movie, she has made a mark in the industry as a versatile actress and a phenomenal producer.
