Anushka Sharma looked
like the world’s most beautiful bride on her wedding day. Her bridal outfit was
just SPLENDID and in case if you have been wondering what went into the making
of that beautiful bridal lehenga, we have got you some interesting information.
It took 32 days and 67 karigars
to complete the ensemble,
reveals Sabyasachi Mukherjee,
who designed Anushka’s outfit! Clearly, the hardwork paid off very well!
As far as the colour of Anushka’s wedding outfit is concerned, the designer
wanted something that would blend well with the Tuscan setting. So,
he chose to go with a blush pink with tropical flora and fauna,
hand-embroidered in silk and floss. Exotic butterflies and birds were rendered
with needlecraft.
“To complement
her lehenga, jadau jewellery was handcrafted in uncut diamonds, pearls and
Kohli wore ivory – a hand-embroidered sherwani with an ivory tussar stole and a
custom woven gold safa,” said Mukherjee.
Virat Kohli and
Anushka got hitched on December
11 and ever since then, Internet
is flooded with their wedding pictures. The couple has now taken off to Rome for
their romantic honeymoon. Well, we cannot wait to see their pictures from
