Archana Puran Singh finally breaks the silence on her comparison to Nawazuddin Siddique in Haddi’s first look!
Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui recently broke the internet with his impressive first look from his upcoming film ‘Haddi’ where he dons a never-seen-before look. In the look, he was wearing a shimmery grey gown with glamorous hair and makeup, dressed as a woman. Soon after the release of his look, netizens flooded the internet saying he looked similar to actress Archana Puran Singh. In fact, some users also poked fun at the actress and made hilarious memes about her. Now, Archana has finally reacted to it.
In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, The Kapil Sharma Show judge spoke about her comparison to Nawazuddin and gave an epic response. Singh stated that she feels that the hairstyle has become synonymous with her as she had used this similar kind of side-parted look on the Kapil show. She also called the comparison a 'huge compliment' for her. Archana was quoted saying, “It’s the hairstyle which has become synonymous with me that is causing all these comparisons. I’ve used this side-parted look during the early part of Kapil show (The Kapil Sharma Show),” she said. Talking about the film, Nawazuddin shared that in his decade-long career he has portrayed different and interesting characters, but Haddi is going to be a unique and special one since he will be sporting a never-seen-before look. The actor added that this movie helped him to push the envelope as an actor.
Directed by Akshat Ajay Sharma, Haddi is said to be a revenge drama. It is currently in its pre-production stage and is slated to release next year.
On the other hand, Archana, who is known for her great sense of humour, is returning with the new season of The Kapil Sharma Show.
