Rumours were rife that Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan might star in the adaptation for Ramayana. Though it got everyone excited as the fans haven't seen this good looking pair together onscreen for a very long time. However, as the fans were awaiting an official confirmation, Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari spoke about it, without clearing the air regarding the same. He said that right now he isn't thinking about the cast just yet and that the team is currently looking at getting it right on the papers.  

According to Pinkvilla, on being asked further if he has approached anyone, he said that right now he isn't thinking about the cast just yet and that the team is currently looking at getting it right on the papers, in terms of execution, the thought process, and stuff like that. Everything else is for later.


Well, as we still await to witness some developments from both the parties, Nitesh Tiwari is currently gearing up for his upcoming release Chhichhore starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Sharma, Tahir Raj Bhasin and others. The trailer of the film has been released a while ago that gave us a tale of friendship. 


Meanwhile, Hrithik's Super 30 did a phenomenal business at the box office and  will be next seen in WAR along with Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor. While Deepika has just wrapped up Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak with Vikrant Massey. The actress will be next seen playing onscreen wife to her real-life husband Ranveer Singh in Kabir Singh's '83.
