Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor has always been a self-proclaimed mumma’s boy. He has never shied away from talking about his mother Mona Shourie Kapoor’s influence in his life and the struggles he went through after her passing. He has always been a rock for his sister Anshula Kapoor to lean on as well. Recently, on the occasion of their late mother’s 60th birth anniversary, she paid tribute to her during an event that left the actor misty-eyed. He shared glimpses of the same on his official social media handle.
Taking to Instagram, Arjun shared a reel where his sister was seen getting on stage at the Spoken Fest. Reminiscing about their late mother Mona Shourie Kapoor, she paid a special tribute to her mother on her 60th birthday. She spoke about her teachings, which left the Ishaqzaade actor in tears. The siblings even share a warm hug. As soon as the 38-year-old actor posted the videos, netizens, and his industry friends took to the comment section of the post to shower them with love. While their father wrote, “Love you too much my bachha,” their youngest sister Khushi Kapoor wrote, “Love you.” Janhavi went on to reshare the post on her Instagram story with a heartfelt message. She wrote, “Love you. For the unversed, Mona Shourie Kapoor was an Indian television producer and Boney Kapoor’s first wife. They got hitched in 1983 and separated in 1996. They had two kids Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor. She passed away in Mumbai in 2012 after her long battle with cancer. Kapoor went on to marry late actress Sridevi and had two daughters Janhavi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. Apart from Anshula, all his other kids are currently establishing themselves as actors in Bollywood.
