Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is all set to embrace motherhood bliss as she is pregnant with her first child. A few days ago, she announced that she is expecting her first child with her husband Anand Ahuja on social media. Sonam, since then, has been receiving congratulatory wishes from his family, cousins, and close ones. On Wednesday night, Sonam and Anand stepped out for the store launch of their brand, and the couple was joined by Arjun Kapoor.
Seeing the actor, the paparazzi could not help but tease Arjun. In a video shared on a paparazzo’s Instagram account, the shutterbugs were seen clicking the actor as they told him, “Mama bann gaya.” Notably, Arjun, clad in his casuals, was seen smiling at them. As soon as the video surfaced online, netizens started connecting the dots and stated Arjun’s girlfriend 'Malaika Arora mami bann gayi.' One user commented on the video, “Yeh mama bana woh toh thik mallaika mami banegi,” another wrote, “Arjun mama bangye. Malaika mamii bangyi congratulations mama mamii.”
The event marked soon-to-be mom Sonam’s first public appearance post announcing pregnancy. Reportedly, the Neerja actress is 4 months pregnant and her due date is in August this year. While sharing the news of her pregnancy with the world, Sonam had shared her breathtaking photos from the photoshoot where she was seen lying in Anand’s lap as they both caressed her baby bump. Alongside the clicks, the actress wrote a heartfelt note for her unborn baby and said she can’t wait to welcome the baby.
