Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora never fail to set major relationship goals for their fans. The couple, who made their romance official in 2019, has broken all age-related stereotypes when it comes to love. As fans are excited to know when Arjun and Malaika are getting married, the Gunday actor has finally opened up about his wedding plans with the actress. During his appearance on the chat show 'Koffee with Karan 7', Arjun revealed that for now the wedding is not on the cards.
The Ek Villain Returns actor explained to host Karan Johar that currently he wants to focus on his career and that he would like to be a little more stable professionally and emotionally. On being quizzed about his wedding with Malaika, Arjun said, “Honestly, because it has been two years of this lockdown, Covid and whatever was transpiring, I wanted to focus on my career. He added, “I would really like to be, professionally, a little more stable. And I am not talking financially, I am talking about emotionally. I would like to do work that makes me happy. Because if I am happy, I can make my partner happy. And I feel a lot of my happiness comes from my work.” The 37-year-old actor also revealed why he took so long to go public about his relationship with Malaika. Arjun explained that he waited a while because he wants to respect the people around his girlfriend. He can understand the complexities as he himself had witnessed the negative impact of his parents' personal life being in news during his childhood days. Thus, he does not want Malaika's son Arhaan to experience this.
