Arjun Kapoor On Tying The Knot With Malaika Arora: No Marriage On Cards Right Now
With Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora making their relationship social media official, there were speculations of the two tying the knot soon. But the rumours are put to rest by Arjun finally, by clarifying that he is not in the phase to take the plunge. However, whenever he does, the actor assures to keep the media informed about it
It was in the month of June this year when Malaika Arora came out on social media and made her relationship with Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor official, via her Instagram post. Post which the duo did not shy off from making a public appearance as well as going all out indulging in PDAs on several occasions. While many speculated that the two are taking the plunge very soon, all these speculations are now put to rest by the actor, as he promotes his upcoming movie Panipat.
In a conversation with the tabloid, Mumbai Mirror, the actor clearly stated being in no mood to take the plunge, however, he further assured informing the media whenever he does escalate his relationship status from dating to been taken forever. He said, “If and when I do get married, I will inform the media. There is nothing to hide from my side but I am not looking to get married anytime soon” Also adding further he mentioned being a star it’s a given fact, that your personal life being no more personal. "It took time to adjust but I'm not the first actor whose personal life is no more personal, nor will I be the last. It’s a price you pay for stardom.” Also mentioning the haters, he said, “If anybody doesn’t like it, he is in the wrong profession. I can’t stop anybody from writing about my personal life because there is an audience who wants to know more. I am okay with that as long as one speaks about it respectfully."
In the recent past, when Malaika was quizzed about her idea of a wedding, she had said, “Destination would be a beach destination because I'm a beach girl. I'd say Eli Saab. Just because I'm all about the white wedding, always liked that whole thing of a white wedding and bridesmaids would be my closest girls. My girl gang.”
Arjun Kapoor is currently in mids of Panipat’s promotion and probably shall announce the release date of his next film co-starring Parineeti Chopra, titled Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar in the upcoming days.
