Arjun Kapoor has been busy with his film shoots and the actor has set his place in the industry with his talented acting skills. Arjun marked his Bollywood debut with 2012 film Ishaqzaade co-starring Parineeti Chopra and has been one of the Top Bollywood actors since then. The actor has charmed his audiences with his performances in films like 2 States, Half Girlfriend, India’s Most Wanted, Gunday, Ki and Ka and several others. As Boney Kapoor has recently bought the remake rights of film Comali, Arjun is set to star in the Hindi remake of the film.

Kapoor has been hitting the headlines due to his relationship with Malaika Arora. Since then, the couple has often taken to their social media pages to treat their fans with pictures and videos from their romantic getaways. As Arjun Kapoor is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film Panipat, the actor is also set to star in the Hindi remake of Tamil film Comali. According to a report in Filmfare.com, Boney Kapoor recently announced that he has purchased the remake rights of Comali and announced that son Arjun Kapoor will star in the film’s Hindi remake. According to the report, in a statement released by the producer, Boney Kapoor expressed how he was happy that son Arjun Kapoor will be a part of his next project. Kapoor mentioned that he has acquired the remake rights of Comali for all languages in the world and Arjun will star in the Hindi remake.


As Arjun Kapoor has been finalized for the project, the rest of the cast for the film has not been revealed yet. The Tamil film Comali was a huge hit down South and starred Jayam Ravi, Kajal Aggarwal and Samyuktha Hegde in the lead roles.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Arjun Kapoor is busy with his upcoming Ashutosh Gowariker period drama based film Panipat co-starring Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt in pivotal roles. Panipat is based on the Third battle of Panipat and is slated to release on December 6 this year.
