Arjun Rampal And Girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades Receive Seized Electronic Devices Post NCB Investigation
According to the latest reports, the special court has granted permission to Arjun Rampal and his ladylove Gabriella Demetriades to receive all their seized electronic devices by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB)
Actor Arjun Rampal and his ladylove Gabriella Demetriades came under the scanner because of her brother Agisilaos Demetriades who was arrested in October by NCB after a raid was conducted at a resort in Lonavala. Amidst the investigation, the agency also seized all the electronic devices of Arjun as well as his girlfriend. Now, the latest report in India Today suggests, the court has granted the couple to receive all their seized electronic devices by a special court under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS).
“Conducting the trial and adjudication of the case will take a significant amount of time. Although the financial investigation into the matter is still ongoing, the data on mobile phones and laptops, such as Macbooks and pen drives, has already been saved in digital form/soft copies and can be accessed at any time for the purposes of the investigation and trial,” special NDPS Judge VV Vidwans said after observing the data.
Earlier, breaking his silence on the drug-related probe, an excerpt of Arjun’s long new year post read, “I would like to assure each and every one of you that I am well aware of my responsibility as a celebrity, a father and a citizen of a country I love dearly that I have never been on the wrong side of the law. You all have nothing to fear or speculate as I have done nothing wrong. I love you all and going forward we shall only spread love and peace together. There is no room for any negativity in our space.”
On the professional front, Arjun Rampal was last featured in the thriller film, Nail Polish. Now, he is gearing up for Kangana Ranaut starrer Dhaakad where he will be essaying the role of the main antagonist. He also has The Battle of Koregaon and Nastik in the pipeline.
