Arpita-aayushs Wedding Reception On May 25
The function was delayed for several months owing to Salmans hectic schedule and legal cases
Yes, Salman Khan’s little sister Arpita Khan and her groom Aayush Sharma did have a star-studded reception in Mumbai on November 21 last year.
But the traditional wedding reception, that is usually organized by the grooms side, has been long overdue. And now, the date is finally sealed.
SpotboyE.com has exclusively learnt that Arpita and Aayush will have their wedding reception on May 25.
Why the delay in the reception, you wonder. Firstly, since the couple flew off for their honeymoon right after the wedding, thus leaving no time for the grooms side to host a reception. Secondly and more importantly, ever since the couple was back, Salman Khan has been busy with his shoot commitments and then, with his legal cases. Naturally, the reception wouldnt take place in his absence.
Now that Salman has a relatively easy work schedule and can breathe easy with regard to his hearings, both the families thought it would be the perfect time to welcome the new bride to their ancestral home.
Preparations are in full flow for the function. Since Aayushs family hails from Himachal Pradesh and his father Anil Sharma is the Cabinet Minister of the state, the function will be held in Mandi in Himachal.
A source told SpotboyE.com, “The reception will be held in the Gymkhana Club. Its going to be a lavish affair with a 20-course meal. Kangdi dham, which is a specialty of Himachal Pradesh, is also on the menu.”
Salman, who is shooting for Bajrangi Bhaijaan in Kashmir, will take time off from his schedule for his chhoti behen. The actor is expected to reach Mandi on May 24.
