Atif Aslam is a name to reckon with in the music industry and his songs are a pleasure to the ear. Blessed with a good voice, the singer has been singing in Bollywood for over a decade now and has made a significant name for himself globally. Atif has sung many songs in Bollywood and hence has a huge fan base in the country. The Tera Hone Laga Hoon singer was recently trolled as he reacted to the revoking of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir.

After the unfortunate attack in URI, there has been a huge controversy as politicians urged Pakistani artists to go back to their country. About a few days back, Article 370 was revoked in Jammu and Kashmir proving them two separate union territories. In accordance to the same, Atif Aslam was massively trolled and fans expressed their disgust over his comments as he reacted to the revoking of Article 370 on his Twitter. The singer tweeted, “Happy to share something very big with all of you. Inshallah I’ll be leaving soon for the most important journey of my life. Before departing for Hajj, I would like to ask for everyone’s forgiveness, be it fans, family, friends. Apologies for hurting anyone’s sentiments. kindly keep me in your prayers Also I strongly condemn the violence and tyranny being conducted against the Kashmiris. As people expressed their fury over the singer’s tweet, recently actress Mahira Khan also denounced India’s big move. In a tweet, the actress recently said, “Have we conveniently blocked what we don’t want to address? This is beyond lines drawn on sand, it’s about innocent lives being lost! Heaven is burning and we silently weep.”
