In the clip, KL Rahul was seen at a club in London and reportedly Athiya was with him. The party showed several exotic dancers and several netizens claimed it was a strip club. Now the actress has reacted to all such claims and slammed people asking them to stop taking things out of context. She also advised media portals to check facts before reporting.
Taking to her Instagram stories, the Hero star posted a bunch of her photos from London and dismissed the rumours saying she and Rahul along with their friends went out to a regular place, contrary to strip club claims. Athiya wrote, “I usually choose to be silent and not react, but sometimes it is important to stand up for yourself. KL Rahul and Athiya are enjoying their time in London. The ace cricketer could not play the ongoing IPL matches due to his surgery and therefore he is currently on a break. Meanwhile, the couple got married in January this year after dating for a long time. They exchanged wedding vows at Suniel Shetty's Khandala farmhouse in an intimate ceremony with just close friends and family in attendance.
