Disney+Hotstar has premiered Aanand L Rai’s latest venture Atrangi Re featuring Akshay Kumar, Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan. A love triangle which is now out on the OTT platform, is a victim of online piracy. As per reports in the media, this brand new release of the OTT platform is leaked online. The movie on the very first day of its release is leaked on Tamilrockers, Telegram and other websites including movierulz. This will surely affect the numbers of the movie.
In recent times, movies and web series were also leaked online such as Pushpa, Money Heist season 5 volume 2,Spider-Man: No Way Home, Aarya 2, Tadap, thus, affecting its business. Coming back to Atrangi Re, it is a love triangle where Rinku played by Sara Ali Khan is in love with Sajjad played by Akshay Kumar, but she is forcibly married to Brahim Vishnu played by Dhanush. The movie was promoted in full swing by the makers and Sara Ali Khan was seen taking the internet by storm by grooving to her solo dance number, Chaka Chak in the movie.

Though the government has taken severe actions against piracy sites, it observed Tamilrockers despite being blocked in the past, appears with a new domain thus, leaking the movies online. This portal is known to leak movies just before a few hours of their official scheduled release.
