Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor hosted a low-key Diwali celebration with their family members at their Mumbai home
Actress Alia Bhatt is all set to give birth to her first child with hubby Ranbir Kapoor. Since the actress was advised to rest, the couple celebrated Diwali with their family members at their Mumbai home. As per the glimpses shared by veteran actress and mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor, Soni Razdan, Shaheen Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karishma Kapoor and Babita Kapoor, among many others, were present at the celebration.
Taking to Instagram stories, Neetu Kapoor shared selfies with the ladies of the Kapoor khaandan. She also shared a candid picture of her son and daughter-in-law attending the Diwali puja. In the picture, Ranbir can be seen holding his wife tightly by her shoulders, offering his support to her. She wrapped up the celebrations by posting a selfie with Ranbir, Alia, Soni and Shaheen. For the unversed, Ranbir and Alia got married on April 2022 in a hush-hush ceremony, with the presence of their families and friends. Three months later, the couple announced their pregnancy. If reports are to be believed, Alia is currently in her third trimester and she is expected to deliver the baby between the November end and December first week. On the work front, Ranbir and Alia were last seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. While it is said that Ranbir will be taking paternity leave to take care of the baby and bond with it, Alia will be returning to work for her upcoming movies, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra.
