Ayesha, Sahil Opt For An Out-of-court Settlement

Jackie Shroff's wife has ended her legal battle with actor-business partner Sahil Khan. The two have had an out-of-court settlement.

SpotboyE.com has it that Sahil has rendered an unconditional apology to Ayesha.

Ayesha, in turn, has decided to withdraw the FIR which she had filed against Sahil.

The rift began began in November last year when Ayesha sent a legal notice to Sahil, demanding back Rs 8 crore she claimed she invested in 2009 in launching a cyber security firm with him (Karma Cyber Intel Private Limited), which shut down in 13 months. Ayesha had then gone on to register a police complaint against him for swindling her.

Sahil applied for an anticipatory bail, claiming that he was having an affair with Ayesha and had accepted many expensive gifts from her expensive holidays to swanky cars.

Ayesha responded by filing another FIR under Sections 506 and 509 of the IPC but by the time the cops reached Sahil's house in Andheri to arrest him, Sahil had gone absconding.

Ayesha shot back to tell the court that a romantic affair could not possibly have existed between the two as "Sahil is gay and his wife Nigar divorced him because one fine day she walked in on him having sex with a male staff member."

The story took an ugly turn when an infuriated Sahil threatened to produce some intimate pictures of the two of them together to the court.

Ayesha and Jackie then filed a suit for injunction against Sahil and his sister Shaishta claiming that in order to save their skin and divert the attention of the media and public, Sahil has been defaming their family by circulating malicious rumours about them.

A source close to Ayesha and Sahil says, "The fight had got murkier by the day. There was no point in continuing it. Better sense has prevailed."

So who waved the white flag?

Revealed the source, "Sahil sent a word to Ayesha asking her if she could let bygones be bygones. Ayesha consulted her family and replied to him in the affirmative."

Despite repeated attempts, Ayesha and Sahil remained unavailable for comment.
