Baaghi 3 Star Tiger Shroff Says ‘I Managed To Get Out Of My Father’s Shadow’; Speaks His Mind Out On Nepotism
Born to parents, actor Jackie Shroff and Ayesha Shroff, actor Tiger Shroff marked his Bollywood debut with the film Heropanti. The actor who co-starred with actress Kriti Sanon in the film has managed to garner a huge fan base around him ever since, due to his stellar performances. Now, off late, as many actors are sharing their views on nepotism and the sparked up social media debate around it, Tiger Shroff speaks his mind out and reveals he managed to get out of his father shadow.

Taking about nepotism in Bollywood, the Baaghi 3 star told IANS, how being his father Jackie Shroff’s son, there is an added pressure of being a star’s son. He mentioned that as people think it’s very easy for star kids, Tiger said that in a way, getting a little attention helps them. Speaking about it, Tiger Shroff said, “Being my father’s son, there’s an added pressure of being a star’s son. People think it’s very easy for us. I won’t lie, in a way to get a little attention it helps. It’s easier for people who are from the film industry but it’s double the effort to make it on our own. I managed to get out of my father’s shadow.”

As Tiger shared that it’s double the effort to make it on your own rather than being from the film industry, he revealed he managed to get out of the shadow of his father. Moving on, the Baaghi 3 actor added, “My father has been in this industry for 30 odd years. He has seen the highs and lows of the industry and he protected me from that from a very young age. Now, that I am out there in the open, I have become an easy target''. Tiger mentioned that as Jackie Shroff has been in the industry for 30 odd years, he has protected him since a young age during his highs and lows.


Meanwhile, Tiger Shroff is currently spending some quality time with his family during the lockdown. Work-wise, the actor last featured in the film Baaghi 3 with Shraddha Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh and Ankita Lokhande. Tiger is gearing up for Heropanti 2, a sequel to his debut film.
