The Magnus opus RRR starring Ram Charan, Jr NTR, and Alia Bhatt is set to release on 25th March, exactly a week after Akshay’s Bachchhan Paandey’s releases. RRR has been creating a huge buzz ever since its announcement and is expected to be a mega-hit. The actor added that one has to understand the fact that when the theatres open with 50 percent occupancy, it will have an impact on the film but still makers are releasing their movies. Akshay further explained, “Still, my industry survived and we went ahead with it. So yes, to come back to the normalcy, it will take another year or more than a year probably".

‘Bachchhan Paandey’ is directed by Farhad Samji and will see Akshay playing the role of a deadly yet filmy gangster, who aspires to be an actor. The movie will hit the theaters on 18th March 2022.
