Badhaai Do First Look: Rajkummar Rao And Bhumi Pednekar Kick-Start The Shoot; Share Glimpses From The Sets – See Pics
Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar have now begun the shoot for Badhaai Do and here are the first pictures from the sets. Going by the pictures, it seems like they are dressed up in their character looks
After the success of National Award-winning blockbuster Badhaai Ho starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao, the sequel of this family entertainer titled, Badhaai Do starring National award-winning actor Rajkummar Rao and the acting powerhouse Bhumi Pednekar is now in the making. Earlier, it was said that Badhaai Do’s shooting will roll in January 2021, having said that, Rajkummar just now shared some pictures from the sets of the film. In the picture, Rajkummar and Bhumi are seen posing for a click with clapboard in their hand, stating they have indeed kick-started the shoot.
We also see Raj and Bhumi in a different get-up, assuming their character looks. Earlier, talking about the sequel, Rajkummar says that Badhaai Ho is a very special film, “Though the setting of our film and the story is very different from Badhaai Ho, the unique story and these entertaining characters will be so much fun for the audiences to watch." While Bhumi said, "I have played many different roles previously in my films but my character in Badhaai Do is truly special. I loved the script since the first narration as the subject is very relevant and is packaged in the most entertaining way.”
She also said that as this is the first time she will be working with Rajkummar and is super excited for it. The Durgamati actor mentioned that she felt amazing to take this franchise forward as Badhaai Ho has been one of her favourites.
