Balakot Surgical Strike: After Uri, Film On The IAF Misson In Pipeline- Sanjay Leela Bhansali To Co-Produce It?
Uri starring Vicky Kaushal, Mohit Raina and Yami Gautam, based on Indian Military's strike in 2016, was a stupendous hit. And now reports are abuzz that a film on the recent air strikes by the Indian Air Force on Jaish-e-Mohammad facilities in Balakot is already in pre-production.

According to Mumbai Mirror, a source close to the project has said that the research is on for the film and it's currently in development stage. This project, reportedly, is being co-produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and T-series' head honcho, Bhushan Kumar. The report further states that Abhishek Kapoor will be helming the project.

The casting of the film, as the reports say, is already on and many Bollywood actors, which include A-listers as well, have shown interest in the project.

You may recall that immediately after the Balakot surgical strike, it was reported that various filmmakers have already registered titles relating to the Pulwama attack and the Balakot air strikes. The titles registered included, Balakot, Pulwama: The Deadly Attack, Surgical Strike 2.0 and How’s the Josh?

The source further told the tabloid that although  there is still a conflict on whether the strike was success or no, with Pakistan constantly denying any damage or existence of terrorist camp at the targeted space, the film will show the Balakot surgical strike as being a “100 percent successful operation which hit the enemy targets with precision”. It will be a mark of respect  the armed forces and the nation.
