Bang On! Vaani Kapoor Confirmed Opposite Ranveer in Befikre

Moments ago, Yash Raj Films made an announcement regarding its latest project Befikre. While Ranveer Singh was roped in as the male lead last week (It's confirmed! Ranveer Singh is Aditya Chopra's hero, October 6), now Vaani Kapoor has been announced as the leading lady of the project.
Remember SpotboyE had told you that Vaani was a frontrunner for the Aditya Chopra project (Ranveer Singh in Yash Raj's Befikre, September 28). While it was a toss-up between Vaani and Anushka Sharma, clearly the newbie has won the race.
The filmmaker had asked the Shuddh Desi Romance actress not to sign any future projects as he would cast her in one of his films. Following Adi's instructions seemed to have worked in Vaani's favour.
