Batla House Court Case To Affect Opening Day Business; Producers Of This John Abraham Starrer Apologise For The Delay
The stage was set for the screening of Batla House where journalists had been invited but destiny had other plans for Batla House. T-Series and John Abraham were all ambitious because they were extremely confident about the film. Batla House couldn't get a verdict from the Delhi High Court till the show time and the media persons had to head back home. Now, after a few changes have been made, Spotboye.com exclusively brought to you that the film will release on August 15 with a decent opening. In a recent press conference, Abraham and Nikkhil Advani open about how the film’s first day collections will get affected due to the delay in the prints of the film reaching screens on time.

John Abraham and the whole team of Batla House is relieved after the court finally gave its verdict on the release of the film. The producers and director talk about how yesterday was a day in the movies for them, as a verdict against them was turned at the last moment. The producers thank the team, lawyers, legal councils, T-series and Panorama films who worked on the release of the film. Director Nikkhil Advani talks about the cuts made in the film. He mentioned the beeping out of the word ‘Mujaheed’ and make changes in two sequences of the boys (terrorists) because the right to freedom of expression gets trumped only by the right to a fair trial and the film might prejudice the on-going trial. According to the director he didn’t want to make these changes as he wanted people to know where the boys came from. He also mentioned how there will be a ‘Super’ in the court-room scene added like a disclaimer which will explain that the filmmakers don’t endorse either view. Further on, answering questions about the advance booking done by people, Abraham talks about how the film’s first day collections will get affected and thanks fans for supporting them. While director Nikkhil apologizes to the fans and explained that it takes time for the prints to reach and the so the distributors will find a solution and messages have been sent already.


Batla House stars John Abraham, Mrunal Thakur and Nora Fatehi in the lead roles. The Batla House trailer gives the audience a sneak peek of the encounter that happened in Batla House in 2008. The film promises a real story about the controversial encounter that happened in Batla House in the national capital of Delhi. The film has been directed by Nikkhil Advani, writer Ritesh Shah and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Sandeep Leyzell. Batla House is scheduled to release on this Independence Day and will clash at the Box-office with Mission Mangal.
