Before Debuting In SOTY 2, Ananya Panday Had Shot A Scene With Suhana For SRK’s My Name Is Khan
Ananya Panday who recently made her debut in Student Of The Year 2 reveals that this isn't her first acting stint as she had shot a scene with Suhana for Shah Rukh Khan’s My Name Is Khan
Chunky Panday and Bhavna Panday’s daughter Ananya Panday made her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year 2 alongside Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria, recently. She garnered good response for her acting chops in the film but besides that the budding actress has often made headlines for her glamorous appearances with BFF Suhana Khan. The two are often seen together at restaurants and theaters. But did you know Ananya and Suhana had shot a scene together for a Shah Rukh Khan film?
In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Ananya revealed that her first acting stint was on the sets of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol-starrer My Name Is Khan. She told them in the interview that, "Actually, Suhana (Khan) and I were both on the sets of My Name Is Khan and there was this scene where the team needed a crowd. Karan (Johar) asked both of us to stand in the crowd and walk. We felt it was our moment and I believe we overacted there, too."
But that wasn't all, later on the BFF’s found out that their scene didn’t make it to the film. "So we did the scene and were very excited to watch it on screen. But when the movie released, we saw our scene wasn't there only." Suhana, Ananya and Shanaya Kapoor are BFFs and also have a Whatsapp group called 'Charlie's Angels'.
On work front Ananya Panday will be next seen in Mudassar Aziz's remake of Pati, Patni Aur Woh, which also stars Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar.
